Hi, I’m Sarah Blackburn
Maybe you have heard about equine bodyworks and are interesting in taking the next step, or maybe you haven’t heard about it and that’s why you are here, on this site.
In either case, I would like to introduce myself and my background with bodyworks. My name is Sarah Blackburn and I have been passionate about helping animals since I was a very little girl. I’ve always had an affinity for natural health and things off the beaten path. When God directed my path away from Wholistic Veterinarian Care, I knew it was because He had other plans for me. In those plans, He showed me the path to Equine Bodyworks, which suited my skills and personality more than veterinary care would have. Since then, I have been working on building my knowledge and skill set to provide my clients with the best care I can. I’ve grown my knowledge in equine massage, acupressure and aromatherapy in the last three years and will continue to learn and grow as long as God allows me breath.
My Approach
Each horse is unique and individual and should be treated as such. This is why I love bodyworks; it gives us the flexibly to be able to tailor each session to the individual horse and relies on feedback directly from the horse.
Session Content
You choose the session type, length and frequency you want for your horse. Choose from a base of massage or acupressure and add on a variety of additional services.
Feedback
During the session, I may recommend additional services or swapping the base service depending on the feedback I receive from the horse. In rare instances I may call off the session for my or the horses safety/wellbeing. In this instance, I will only charge for any work done up to that point - not for a full session.
